Should I Consider Partnering With A New Dental Lab For My Dental Clinic?

You have been successfully running a dental clinic in Puerto Rico for years. With a good client base, you have established your reputation in the market. But, these days, things are not working like before. Your clients are not satisfied as they used to be. Also, the number of patients has reduced, reducing the overall revenue.

There can be many reasons for your poor performance. One of them is the dental lab that you have partnered with for prosthetics. The dental lab helps you treat your patient in the best way. So, you should think of moving to another lab so that you can deliver the same quality service to your patients.

In this post, we will discuss the signs that indicate you should look for a new dental lab in Puerto Rico.

Delay in service with no proper explanation- The dental lab you hired delivered quality service on time. And due to this, you were able to serve your patients timely. But, nowadays, the delivery is not on time, which is affecting your service.

If you think the service delivery of the dental lab is not like before or the lab has started misplacing or forgetting your orders, you should think about switching. Chances are that the dental lab has got many new clients and has become busier than before.

Delayed service delivery from the dental lab can impact your service and reputation in the market. So, it’s good to change.

Deteriorating product and service quality- Service and product quality delivered by the dental lab might deteriorate because of two reasons. First, the dental lab might take advantage of your trust and give lower quality with higher prices. The dental lab may think that you would not go anywhere.

Second, the dental lab deteriorates its quality if it is unable to meet the increasing demand of new clients in the limited budget. With poor quality, the dental lab has to pay less in designing and manufacturing.

No matter what the reason is, if the service and product quality are not good, you should think of partnering with a new dental clinic.

No clear and timely communication- Neither you nor the dental lab can work without one another. Until you share the requirements and the dental lab understands the requirements properly, the delivery will not be as expected. And for this, there should be proper communication between both parties.

If you experience a communication gap or find that your point of contact does not interact like before, look for a new option. It will happen if the dental lab is very busy or going through an internal transition. In both cases, the loss will be all yours.

Overcharging for poor quality- Price and quality go hand in hand, meaning the low price for poor quality and high price for good quality. But, if the dental lab is charging high for poor-quality products, it’s time to change.

You should look for a dental lab that offers quality and quick turnaround at the lowest price. This will save you money as well as prevent your patients from moving to another dental clinic. But, make sure you don’t overpay the dental lab, no matter what quality it delivers.

A wrong dental lab can affect the functioning and image of your dental clinic. So, partner with a new dental lab in Puerto Rico at the right time.
